GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SOLICITATION
The City of Leesburg, Florida invites solicitation responses for the construction of the rehabilitation of the apron/main ramp. The proposed project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing apron pavement and updating the aircraft tie-down layout. The proposed apron pavement shall be asphalt, with concrete helicopter parking pads. Aircraft tie downs shall be installed in the configuration on the plans. The proposed layout has been coordinated with the Owner. The proposed project shall consist of one bid schedule inclusive of all improvements to the existing aircraft apron. Contractors submitting a response must hold the required license and must have documented and verifiable experience. Details and specifications are outlined within this Solicitation Package.
Estimate of Project Magnitude: $2,300,000.00 - $2,800,000.00

BOND INFORMATION
- A Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond is required to be submitted with the Suppliers Response.
- A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required following Contract execution.

A "MANDATORY" pre-bid meeting/site visit will be held on:

A representative from interested companies MUST attend this meeting and sign-in on the attendee sheet. Companies not listed on the sign-in sheet are NOT eligible to submit a bid response. A company submitting a bid response that is not shown on the sign-in sheet will be disqualified.

PUBLIC BID OPENING
This Solicitation is a Construction Project and therefore subject to Florida Statue regarding public bid openings.
The City will hold a VIRTUAL public bid opening using Zoom. Parties interested in attending can use the below URL and connection information.
During the opening the City will read the name of each Bidder and their Total Base Bid Amount.
