INTENT OF BID
The intent of this bid is to establish an Asbestos Abatement and Demolition of Structure Contract for the asbestos abatement and demolition of a commercial structure and two residential structures.
It is the intent of the City to award this bid in its entirely to one contractor. Bidders shall bid on all properties to be considered for award of this bid. All work shall be completed within 45 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The bid submission deadline is 2:00 PM CST on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Due to the Infectious Disease Procedures (COVID-19) that are in place, we are requesting that bidders not physically attend the bid opening. Instead, the bid opening will be held virtually.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE
A voluntary pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. This will be begin at 201 S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and subsequently move to the other two properties as needed. Although attendance is not required, it is highly recommended.

RESPONSE SUBMISSION
Sealed bids can be delivered electronically through the Negometrix e-procurement platform or via hard copy to the Purchasing Department located at 3210 E Avenue H, Building C, Temple, Texas, 76501.
**All Vendors must ensure that their time zone settings are set correctly to Central Standard Time (UTC-06:00). All times posted will be in Central Standard Time. Late bid submissions cannot be accepted due to issues with time zone settings.
