Description:
INTENT OF BID
The intent of this bid is to secure a contract for the construction of Avenue C from Main Street to MLK, Jr Drive. Construction consists of infrastructure improvements to include curb and gutter, storm water, water and wastewater utilities, sidewalk, signage and striping, erosion control, traffic control, and re-vegetation. Additional construction includes a parking lot located on 4th Street near Avenue C.

This bid will be awarded by the City to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

The construction covered by the contract documents shall be fully completed within 180 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by the City of Temple to the successful bidder.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The bid submission deadline is 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Due to the Infectious Disease Procedures for COVID-19 that are in place, we are requesting that bidders not physically attend the bid opening. Instead, the bid opening will be held virtually.
