OVERVIEW
The Town of Palm Beach, Florida seeks to enter into an agreement with a qualified experienced individual, firm, or corporation to provide as-needed Building Plan Review Services and Building Inspection Services. Services will be provided in accordance with the requirements of Florida Statutes 468, Part XIII and Florida Building Code, Chapter 18 and Chapter 134 and any other applicable Chapters of the Town of Palm Beach's Municipal Code of Ordinances. These services shall be provided on a full-time or as-needed basis, as determined by the Town.
The Town reserves the right to award to more than one firm. The firm(s) shall act as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the Town.
AWARD
Bid shall be awarded for a term of twelve (12) months with the option to renew the contract for up to four additional twelve (12) month periods.
Award will be made to the three lowest responsive and responsible bidders, designated as Primary / Secondary / Tertiary, whose bids meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid.
The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town.The Town reserves the right to reject any and all offers, to waive non-material irregularities or technicalities and to re-advertise for all or any part of this solicitation as deemed in its best interest. The Town shall be the sole judge of its best interest.
ESTIMATED BUDGET
Estimated at $300,000.00
This figure is provided only as information. It is neither expressly implied nor guaranteed that the amount shown will be achieved in the next contract period. Actual expenditures, whether lesser or greater than the amount shown, shall not affect the contracted rates. Our total spending will be dependent upon various factors including the level of activities and the individual Department's needs.

QUESTION DEADLINE
The deadline for questions is SEVEN (7) CALENDAR DAYS before the end of the Offer Phase (due date).

The Town may provide written addenda up to FIVE (5) calendar days before the date fixed for receiving the bid proposals. Any oral explanation(s) given before the bid opening will not be binding.
