Title VI Solicitation Notice:
The City of Leesburg, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS IFB
The City of Leesburg, Florida is requesting Solicitation responses for the processing and removal of obstructive vegetation, and subsequent debris from the Leesburg Airport runways.
Vegetation at the ends of runways 03 and 31 are obstructing primary surfaces and approach surfaces. Vegetation on the southwest side of runway 13 are obstructing the primary and transitional surfaces. The visual NAVAID PAPI lights have been NOTAM out of service, as they cannot be seen.
Estimate of Project Magnitude: $30,000.00
PRE-SOLICITATION / SITE VISIT MEETING
A "MANDATORY" pre-bid meeting/site visit will be held on the date and time stated below. Attendance at this meeting IS REQUIRED. Suppliers not attending the mandatory pre-bid meeting will not be eligible to submit a response to this Solicitation.
