OVERVIEW
The Town of Palm Beach (hereinafter known as "Town") seeks proposals from firms having experience in providing temporary general labor and semi-skilled labor services for the Recreation Department of the Town. The persons assigned to the Town will be considered employees of the agency and not of the Town. The Town intends to award one primary contract and one secondary contract.
The Contractor shall be required to provide, temporary services of employees as they relate to Recreation Department at the tennis centers, marina, recreation center and golf course, and other areas of work, on an as needed basis.
The Town intends to award one primary contract and one secondary contract. The secondary contractor shall be used in the event the primary contractor is unable to provide the required services within the time frame specified.
Bid shall be awarded for a term of twelve (12) months with the option to renew the contract for up to four additional twelve (12) month periods.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all offers, to waive non-material irregularities or technicalities and to re-advertise for all or any part of this solicitation as deemed in its best interest. The Town shall be the sole judge of its best interest.
ESTIMATED BUDGET
Par 3 Golf Course: $328,000.00; Tennis: $64,000.00; Recreation Center: $36,000.00
This figure is provided only as information. It is neither expressly implied nor guaranteed that the amount shown will be achieved in the next contract period. Actual expenditures, whether lesser or greater than the amount shown, shall not affect the contracted rates. Our total spending will be dependent upon various factors including the level of activities and the individual Department's needs.
