GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE BID
The Town of Palm Beach is seeking qualified landscape contractors to remove and replace existing Palm trees stumps and to furnish and install new palm trees in various locations throughout the Town. For each location, the Contractor shall provide all appropriate equipment, bracing, materials, labor, and debris removal to an off-site facility.
The successful contractor shall remove, transport and replace all trees using best management practices and is responsible for the initial "watering in" of the root-ball(s) for all new trees. In most cases, water supply is available from nearby utilities: however, if necessary, the successful contractor shall make arrangements for the supply of water prior to the start of work.
Successful contractor shall not allow any bracing into streets, sidewalks or any other way that may impede parking, vehicular traffic or pedestrian access to sidewalks. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all utility locates and Right of Way (ROW) permits prior to the start of work at each location.
