General Information about this solicitation:
The Town of Palm Beach, Florida is seeking proposals from experienced, knowledgeable, and well-established firms, capable of designing and manufacturing a concrete floating dockage system for this Town Docks Replacement Project.
Introduction
The Town Docks are located adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway and south of the Royal Park Bridge. The Town Docks are the only public marina on the island of Palm Beach. The Town Docks are adjacent to the Town's park on South Lake Drive and some of the upland infrastructure associated with the docks/marina exist in the park. The Town Docks currently consist of three piers (Brazilian, Australian, and Peruvian Docks) comprising of approximately 80 boat slips and 606 ft of marginal side tie mooring. The Town selected W.F. Baird & Associates (Baird) to lead the professional engineering services for the Town Docks Replacement project. Baird has developed a permit drawing set for the approved marina redevelopment Master Plan that is the basis for this Request for Qualifications.

Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit
A "NON-MANDATORY" pre-proposal meeting/site visit will be held on: Date/Time: March 14, 2019 at 2:00PM
Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification from Town staff. Companies outside our area will be able to attend through a conference call.

Question Deadline
The deadline for questions is SEVEN (7) CALENDAR DAYS before the end of the Offer Phase (due date). Questions should be submitted through this software platform using the Question & Answer feature or by emailing your questions to solicitations@townofpalmbeach.com . The Town may provide written addenda up to FIVE (5) calendar days before the date fixed for receiving the bid proposals. Any oral explanation(s) given before the bid opening will not be binding.
