Description and Declarations
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Palm Beach Retirement System ("Board") hereby gives notice that proposals will be accepted from all individuals or firms interested in providing custodial services in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules, codes, regulations, ordinances, and laws.
The Board will select the successful bidder based on the written proposal submitted and an oral presentation to the Board. Presentations shall only be scheduled with those individuals or firms whom the Board feels are best qualified to perform the required services. The Board reserves the right to withdraw this Request for Proposals at any time to protect its best interests and the right to reject any non-conforming or non-responsive requests.
The Town also has an OPEB Trust with assets under custody. These assets are overseen by the Investment Advisory Committee. We are seeking bids for custody services for these investments as well.
The request and submission of your proposal shall in no way constitute an obligation on the part of the Board to provide you with compensation for your efforts or to contract with your firm. However, all proposals shall be considered a binding and irrevocable offer for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days after the proposal due date.
The Board will award the contract for a period of three (3) years with two (2) additional one (1) year periods at the Board's option.

QUESTION DEADLINE
The deadline for questions is SEVEN (7) CALENDAR DAYS before the end of the Offer Phase (due date).
Questions should be submitted through this software platform using the Question & Answer feature.
The Town may provide written addenda up to FIVE (5) calendar days before the date fixed for receiving the bid proposals. Any oral explanation(s) given before the bid opening will not be binding.
